Details on Subaru's much anticipated Impreza WRX STi have been revealed to Auto Express which could be of interest to new car finance customers.
According to the magazine the new car will receive its full debut at the Tokyo Motor Show alongside the Japanese manufacturer's latest people carrier the Exiga as well as their entry into the electric vehicle market, the G4e.
The WRX STi, which is expected to be the star of the company's stand, boasts improved aerodynamics, a six speed manual gearbox and wider axles at the front and rear.
It is also thought that the 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine will offer 280 bhp and around 422Nm of torque, which could be great news for car finance customers looking for a powerful compact.
Subaru's new entry into the eco-friendly market the G4e - which stands for Green for Earth - will operate using new vanadium battery technology designed in-house by Subaru.
Earlier this month Subaru issued a statement on the G4e that promised "The traditional perception of electric vehicles being heavy and cramped [will be] reversed," according to thecarconnection.com website.
