The website reports that the Japanese manufacturer's Outlander Commercial suggested the vehicle could be a great choice for car finance customers looking for a versatile commercial vehicle to aid with any number of jobs.
Commenting on the award, What Van?'s Neil McIntee said that the Outlander Commercial was "capable in the rough and user-friendly around town and on rural routes and high speed intercity runs".
"A handy package for everybody from the construction site foreman to the local vet," he added.
The car currently retails for around £16,999 and is hugely popular across the UK for those looking to take advantage of its versatility.
Earlier this year, Reuters reported that subject to such high demand, Mitsubishi will be shipping an extra 20,000 of the cars to satisfy the UK and European market.
