Car loans customers offered 'young and sporty' Civic

New car loans customers may be interested to hear that Honda is set to introduce a new version of its popular Civic in time for the start of the new year.

The new model, which is available to those with car finance from this week onwards, is named the SE+ and comes with a host of improvements on both the exterior and interior.

According to Reuters, some of the enhancements include 16-inch alloys, body-coloured skirts and spoiler and the manufacturer is said to be targeting the younger market with this new addition to a popular range.

Tom Gardner, head of Honda Marketing in the UK, told the news agency: "The market has responded well to the new Civic, and the 5-door is drawing a younger audience than ever before,"

However he added that Honda's decision to revamp the vehicle came after it was established that there was demand for a "higher spec, entry level model that looked even more sporting" and this is something the manufacturer hopes to have achieved.

The new Civic SE+ is available now and comes fitted with Honda's 1.4-litre i-DSI engine, with prices starting from £14,900.
