Used car finance customers looking for something a little special may be interested to hear about Ferrari's new plans.
The Italian super-car company will now have its vehicles sold under an approved scheme which is the first of its kind to be established by UK dealers.
Used Ferraris will now be available from £60,000 under an initiative that the company hopes will widen its customer base and increase its sales in the used car market.
Commenting on the news, Ferrari's UK managing director Massimo Fedeli told Motor Trader: "There is a real opportunity here for dealers to achieve growth and attract customers who are not currently buying through the official network."
It is thought that around 915 used Ferraris were sold by approved dealers in 2006 in comparison to the 1,105 that were sold privately and this is something that the Italian manufacturer hopes to address.
Last month Auto Express revealed that Ferrari was planning to extend its customer base by introducing an SUV that would rival Porsche's Cayenne model.
