Those looking to buy a new or used car with approved car finance may be interested to learn that BMW's Mini has been named as a solid investment in a new survey.
According to figures from Parker's Car Guides, the small car is the slowest depreciating car on the UK market - with Minis purchased 12 months ago having lost around £1,388.
Commenting on the report, Mini's used car development manager Dan Pulleyn said that the car was popular due to its personality, driveability and cost efficiency.
"With Mini, there is something for everyone. Unique, premium image is combined with low cost of ownership and a great driving experience," he said.
Taking second place in the study was the Honda Jazz, which was noted for having appeared in the report's top five lowest depreciating cars every year since its launch in 2002.
Honda, BMW and Mini were among the names listed in a survey last year from Kelley Blue Book highlighting the resale value of new cars after a five year period.
