The latest version of Honda's Accord could be of interest to those with new car finance following a series of images that have been unveiled.

Auto Express reports today that the Japanese manufacturer has issued a number of revealing images that show what drivers can expect from the next generation of the new car.

It is noted that the car's vertical tailgate has been removed and replaced by a "much sportier, tapered rear end" but adds that this could result in less load space.

However, it adds that a number of other design improvements mean that the Accord could be a great option for car finance customers looking for a stylish new vehicle.

"The new Accord is an evolution of the current car at the front, with smartly styled angular headlamps and an arrowhead-shaped chrome grille … Other neat details include a pair of satin-finished roof rails and a spoiler above the rear windscreen," the magazine states.

Honda will equip the new Accord with its latest i-DTEC diesel engine which made its first appearance at last year's Tokyo Motor Show.
