Car finance customers shopping for a greener new vehicle do not have to sacrifice style and performance, it has been suggested.According to ctv.ca, there are a number of new cars heading to the market that are kind to the environment as well as being "pretty sexy and interesting".In an article for the site, Jeremy Cato advises on a range of models that offer power without compromising on energy-efficiency - including the V12 TDI version of Audi's R8 as well as some interesting models from BMW.Mr Cato states that the German manufacturer will have the first of its hybrids available to car loans customers next year and that its concept X6 could be the model - however, for those who cannot wait, this year's X5 xDrive 35d could be an alternative."It has a twin-turbo, three-litre, inline six-cylinder diesel engine, which will also be used in [the] diesel-powered 3-Series sedan - the 335d," Mr Cato notes, adding that the model should be available in Autumn. BMW's Efficient Dynamics technology was praised at this year's World Car of the Year Awards - with the company picking up the World Green Car title for its 118d model.© Adfero Ltd
