How can I help you?

Do you have a question about Carfinance247 or its services? If so, please complete the form below for a response within 1 working hours. I have over 7 years experience working for Carfinance247 and have the responsibility to answer all questions asked.

Will I get rejected from Audi having already been rejected from BMW finance?

Hello, I tried to buy a new BMW 1 series (£21k) and it was roughly going to cost £250 a month with a deposit and dealer contribution.

I gave my security deposit etc and my credit score was really good. Then they asked for more proof of ID. I gave them bank statements and a proof of address for 3 years. I have moved around a lot in the past 3 years (every 6 months or so) and I don't have savings.

I do however get paid every month and it clearly states that on the bank statements. BMW finance then rejected me for the fact I didn't have savings and allegedly not having the disposable income. My question is - Will all new car companies with same value car, such as Audi also reject me? Or is it just BMW being difficult? Thank you

Hi Elliot, thank you for your question.

Most manufacturers use their own branded financial services and they are incredibly picky on who they lend to. What you have described isn't unusual to be honest.

All i'd say is that you could try Audi but the same may well happen. As an alternative, we actually work with a large panel of lenders, which means we can often find the perfect finance option to suit a customer's needs. Working with such a large number of lenders means we can help those with excellent credit, poor credit & everything in between.

It sounds like you have the necessary proofs which is great and a good income, so we should be able to help. If you'd like to see what we can do for you, please make an application. If approved, we provide a no obligation quote and you can buy a car from any reputable dealership in the UK. Kind Regards, Edwin
