Answer.

Hi John, if you're looking to borrow a small amount we do have lenders that could lend you the money even though you're 65. We do also help retired people for that matter.

How is your credit rating? Why don't you use our car finance calculator and punch in the amount you wish to borrow and over how long and it will give you expected payments depending upon your credit history. Then you could make your mind up on whether you want to apply or not.

Your age doesn't matter as we have lenders that will lend you the funds and the good news is you're still working so that you can prove your income. Please make an application and once approved you can choose a car from any reputable dealer and we also provide a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Edwin

Question.

Hi, my husband is a non driver age 65 and working full time on oil rig. He's not retiring any time soon. I myself work part time and have a car.

We would like to upgrade this but are finding it difficult to do this as can't get finance through local dealer. We both have excellent credit ratings. Can you help?

Answer.

Hi Karen, thank you for your question.

We do indeed have lenders that help people without a driving licence but who have excellent credit get car finance. I'd advise for you to make an application on our website with yourself as the main hirer and your husband as the joint-hirer. This way we can take both of your incomes into account. Being 65 isn't an issue for most of our lenders. 75 tends to be the cap.

When you're ready please make a joint application by clicking here and once approved you can choose a car from any reputable dealer and we also provide a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Edwin
