PCP finance for new Mini Countryman

Hi, I am wanting to purchase a brand new mini countryman for £30k with £5or £6k deposit. I am self employed and have lived at same address for 29 years. But, having checked my experian credit report it says i am not on the electoral roll which i am! I have contacted them to fix the error but i don't know if i should apply for finance yet or wait until my credit file is updated. I will have my current car paid for in August this year it was a 5 year hire purchase with black horse. I don't know if i should wait for that to have finshed before i apply for credit? Thanks, Rob

Answer.

Hi Rob, to be honest the electoral roll isn't an issue as you've lived at your address for such a long time. This wouldn't stop us getting an approval in place for you anyway. The fact that you have a 20% deposit also helps and i wouldn't be concerned about your current car finance agreement as that's nearing the end. Have you applied at the Mini dealer yet? Regards, Edwin
