I've just passed my driving test but i'm unemployed. I have bad credit. Can i get car finance?

I just passed my driving test but I can't afford to buy a car. I've got a bad credit history & I'm not working.

I do get child tax credits and income support - would I be able to get a car on this?

Answer.

Hi Nadine, thank you for your question.

Firstly, congratulations on passing your driving test. Secondly, the good news is that we do have lenders on our panel that help people who have bad credit and are on benefits get car finance.

Please make an application and once approved you can choose a car from any reputable dealer and we also provide a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Edwin

Question.

Hi, I'm currently on ESA due to ill health and I am applying for PIP (the old DLA). I also drive for a voluntary organisation and have a regular contract which brings me in mileage expenses each week. I really need another car as mine is over 14 years old and should have a newer model for this contract. Would I be in with a chance of finance? My credit rating is poor at the moment.

Hi Chris, thank you for your question.

Good news! We actually work with a few lenders that are able to help customers who are on benefits and have bad credit, so we may be able to help.

Please make an application when you're ready and if approved you can choose a car from any reputable dealer and we also provide a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Edwin
