I was discharged from bankruptcy in Nov 2005. Can i get car finance?

Hello, I was discharged from bankruptcy in Nov 2005 and according to Experian my credit score is 416.

I now have a catalogue account which gets paid every month but i do have a bad credit history. What are my chances of being approved for a car loan?

Answer.

Hi Angela, thank you for your question.

We can indeed help customers who have been discharged bankrupt in the past and even if you've had a patchy recent credit history we have plenty of specialist lenders who are there to help people that need car finance but have bad credit.

Your score isn't the lowest we've seen so i'm confident we can help as long as you're employed. Also, the fact that you were discharged over 8 years ago will go in your favour. Please make an application and once approved you can choose a car from any dealer and we also provide a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Edwin

Question.

Hello, I am a discharged bankrupt of four years. Can i get car finance for a new car at a ford dealership?

Posted by Mandyhanton on

Answer.

Hi Mandy, thank you for your question.

As you were discharged over 4 years ago i'm confident that we can get you approved for car finance. As long as you're employed, have a UK driving licence and have some current clean credit we'll be fine. A deposit can help too but this isn't mandatory.

Please make an application and once approved you can choose a car from any dealer and we also provide a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Edwin
