Can i upgrade my car even though i currently have car finance in place?

I got a car on finance though you last year and was told I could potentially upgrade during the term of my deal.

Is this still the case and how do I go about doing so? I would like to upgrade my car.

Answer.

Hi Colin, thank you for coming back to us. Upgrading your car is definitely a possibility.

Do you know how much your current car is worth and what you owe on it (settlement figure)? Once we have this information we'll know whether you're in negative equity or not.

Either way we can still help guide you through the process of part exchanging your car for a newer one. Please make an application and once approved you can choose a car from any reputable dealer and we also provide a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Edwin

Question.

Hi, I currently have finance with Moneybarn for my Honda civic and about only 9 months into the agreement and have no problems paying the car at £227 per month.

I would like a smaller car for cheaper petrol and tax. The problem arises that there would be between £1000 and £1500 negative equity. I just wondered if you would be able to help. Regards, John

Answer.

Hi John, thank you for your question.

We do deal with Moneybarn so i'd like to think we can guide you through the process of changing your vehicle. Would you have any cash deposit at all to make up the negative equity difference? This would obviously help the situation and improve our chances of being able to help.

You never know we also may be able to get you approved with a lender that offers more attractive rates if you've kept your recent credit history clean. Please make an application and once approved you can choose a car from any reputable dealer and we also provide a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Edwin
