On an IVA and would like finance for a Honda Accord?

Hi, myself and my partner are looking for car finance however we are currently in an IVA. We take in £65k collectively, and the IVA ends at the beginning of next year so we may be in a position to pay the finance off early, would this be possible? And do we have to choose a car from one of your dealers, as I’m pretty set on getting a Honda Accord, and don’t want to apply and then not be able to find one!
Thanks, Ben

Thanks for the question Ben,

We do have a few lenders that are able to help people with previous credit issues such as yourselves, so we will try our best to get you and your partner an approval. What we will need is proof of permission from your IP, which you can get back to us with should you choose to go ahead with your agreement.

The fact that you both take in a good income is great, and should help your chance of approval! If you wish to pay your finance off early, all you or your partner would need to do is contact your lender and ask for a settlement figure. This is the amount you need to pay to finish your agreement and settle the loan. This can be done at any point throughout the contract period.

If approved you can choose a car from any reputable dealer in the UK, so you would have plenty of choice when it comes to finding your new Honda Accord! As you do have a specific car in mind, you may also wish to have a browse using the car search in our members area. Here you can look through an exclusive database of over 20 000 cars from some of our dealer partners.

Please make an application when you're ready and if approved we will provide you with a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Edwin
