Discharged bankrupt looking for Peugeot 308

Hiya Ed, I was declared bankrupt a while back, and this was discharged about 3 years ago. I now have a good job, where I earn £35 000pa. I commute 2 hours to work every day so I drive quite a few miles, will this be an issue? I am ideally after about £5000 - £6000 for something simple and reliable like a Peugeot 308, and my current car has broken down so I need it asap. Is there any way you can help?

Hello Tom, thankyou for your question,

We can help people who have previously experienced bankruptcy secure finance, provided the bankruptcy has now been discharged. Have you started to build your credit rating back up, and are you now on top of your bills? If so then great! We can certainly try our best to find you a lender.

The fact that you’ll be travelling does not stop you from getting a loan, however it is a good idea to make us aware when you apply. Whilst some lenders might place a cap on the amount of miles you are supposed to drive – many of our lenders do cater to people with high mileage requirements. There is a section at the end of your application for additional notes where you can give us these extra details.

Should you be approved, we will get back to you as soon as possible with a no obligation quote. You can search for a car at any point, and if you decide to accept, and all we will need to do is sort out your paperwork - so that Peugeot could be yours in no time!

Please make an application when you're ready and if approved we provide a no obligation quote and you can buy a car from any reputable dealer in the UK. Kind Regards, Edwin
