Hi John, it all depends upon what car finance lender you get approved with as to what information they require. Do you have a good or bad credit history?

If you have good credit the length you've worked at your current job is not important as we can get you accepted and the funds released with just a copy of your driving licence.

If you have bad credit however, the lenders that might approve you ask for more information such as payslips and they may carry out a job check (which only takes a few minutes with your line manager). To answer your question in a nut shell - it doesn't really matter! As long as you're working and you can prove this with payslips or bank statements there won't be any problems.

Please make an application and once approved we provide a no obligation quote and you can buy a car from any dealer in the UK. Kind Regards, Edwin
