Do i need to have been working for a minimum period to get van finance?

Hello there, my name is Andrew. I have never owned a van or car before as was travelling so wasn't working in the UK until about 7 months ago.

I have no bad credit as far as i know and need a van so i can get better work. If my credit check is good, do i need to have been working for a minimum period to get finance?

Answer.

Hi Andrew, thank you for your question.

To get a car or van on finance you'll need to be able to provide 3 months wage slips or 3 months bank statements in most cases to prove your income. However, if you have an excellent credit history proof of income isn't required (just a driving licence).

As long as you have 3 years UK address history we should be able to help. Please make an application and once approved we provide a no obligation quote and you can buy a van from any dealer in the UK. Kind Regards, Edwin

Question.

Hi, I currently have finance with Advantage, which is finished in the next few months.

For my next purchase I am looking at getting a £6000 small van as my everyday runner. The van would only be for personal use with my hobby (I am not classed as self employed).

My finance circumstances haven't changed since I have had the Advantage car finance for past 3 years and would say my rating is fair to bad due to previous finances. Can you help?

Answer.

Hi Rick, thank you for your question.

We do deal with Advantage finance and as you have a current agreement that has been kept up to date i'm confident we can get you re-approved for a £6000 van.

Being self employed or not isn't really an issue. To prove your income we just need to see 3 months payslips or bank stats.

Please make an application and once approved we provide a no obligation quote and you can buy a van from any dealer in the UK. Kind Regards, Edwin

Question.

I am working as a courier using my own van. I have applied for a job with a different Courier firm & would like to change my van to a newer one.

Could you help me? I can earn 3 times what i earn at present, so i need a newer van.

Answer.

Hi Raymond, thank you for your question.

As long as you can prove your income as requested (last 3 months typically) i'm confident we can get you approved for van finance. You'd also need to provide a copy of your driving licence and a proof of address. If you have past credit issues we also have lenders on our panel to find the right package for you.

Please make an application and once approved you can choose a van from any reputable dealer and we also provide a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Edwin
