Vauxhall Corsa on Car Finance with Bad Credit

Hi, i am looking for a Vauxhall Corsa 5dr on finance. I have an old Ford Fiesta (99) in part exchange but my credit rating is poor and i can't get a guarantor. Can you help me?

Answer.

Hi Angelina, apologies for the late reply. We'd love to help and thank you for your question.

Don't worry if you can't get a guarantor as we pride ourselves on helping those who have been declined in the past. As long as you have a UK licence, are on the electoral roll and can prove your current income we have a good chance of getting you approved.

Please make an application and when approved we'll be able to get you into a Vauxhall Corsa with no issues and the supplying dealer (of your new car) will take your current Ford Fiesta as full deposit too. Just so you know - we provide a no obligation quote and you can buy a car from any UK dealer. I look forward to receiving your application. Kind Regards, Edwin

Question.

Hello Edwin. I'm a 21 year old (will be 22 in September). I start my first job in October as a bus driver on a decent wage. I would like to get a Vauxhall Corsa on finance. I will have a deposit of around £5000 give or take a few hundred. Would I be able to get car finance from yourself or even Vauxhall with my stats baring in mind i will only have one or two wage slips, with no employment history? I've had a mobile on contract for the past year, and have Virgin Media being paid from my bank. Never missed any payments. But never had any formal loan or finance before. I don't know what my score is. I've lived at my current address for around 7 years. So to recap. First job, £5000 deposit. 22 (then) years old. Same address for 7 years. Thanks! Alec

Answer.

Hi Marie, thank you for your question. With a £2000 deposit in your Corsa and a good credit score we should be able to get you approved with no problems at all. Please apply on our website and let me know when you have done so and i'll look at your application. Regards, Edwin

Answer.

Hi Nyah, thank you for your question. With a stable income and a deposit of £700 i think we should be able to get you approved for the £5295 that you need as you have a little bit of credit with your 2 mobile phone contracts. Have you already seen the exact car you wish to purchase? Regards, Edwin

Answer.

Hi Alec, as you'll be 22 when you apply and you have a very large deposit i see no reason why we won't be able to get you approved. We may well have to see 3 months payslips though to get everything passed. You also have a little bit of credit which is good news and i take it you're on the electoral roll at your current address? If so this is good news. Please apply when you feel ready. Edwin

Question.

Hiya Edwin. Thanks for the reply. Yeah - I'm on the electoral roll at the current address. If in a few months time down the line when I have payslips (We will get one a week as that is how the company pays them), do you finance new cars? As I would like a new Corsa SRI versus a used car as I need it to be reliable as I will be driving 25 miles round trip to work etc. Also what do you think my rate of interest will be, from what you know? With and without a homeowner guarantor. Thanks.

Answer.

Hi Alec, we can finance new cars so that's not a problem. As Vauxhall's come with 3 years manufacturer warranty would you consider one that's 3-6 months old for example as we'd have plenty of options for you? On the rate front i'd expect you to get a rate between 10% and 14%. Regards, Edwin

Question.

Hello, i am looking at getting something small preferably a Vauxhall Corsa on a 2008 to 2012 plate. I turned 18 in April and received a contract phone. I'm just wondering if i would be suitable to receive a car on finance? Let me know please. Thank you

Answer.

Hi Michael, there is a chance that we can get you approved on your own as long as you have a full UK licence, you are employed full time and you are on the electoral roll at your current address. Is this the case? Also would you have any deposit to place into the deal? Kind Regards, Edwin

Question.

Hi Edwin, I will be turning 18 at the end of October, i am wanting to look into financing a car. However, i don't have ANY credit rating. Will this go against me? As i don't have bad or good credit rating i just have NONE!

I haven't been driving long will this also affect me getting a finance car? I'm wanting a 57 plate Vauxhall Corsa 1.2/1.4. If you could find me some answered on this my i earn £12,614 a year - Is this wage too low to be able to try?

Answer.

Hi Georgina, thank you for your question.

As you have correctly pointed out you'll have to be 18 to apply for car finance. As long as you have a UK bank account that means you have a little bit of credit history. Your income is also good for your age and the fact that you haven't been driving for long won't go against you.

If you have a guarantor that may improve your chances of an acceptance but this isn't mandatory. Please make an application and once approved you can choose a car from any reputable dealer and we also provide a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Edwin
