Problems getting car finance

Hello, I have just written my car off and am looking to get a new one for around £8k. I have had problems getting finance in the past - how likely is it i will get approved?

Hi Francis, thank you for your question.

Here at Carfinance247, we specialise in obtaining car finance for those who have had problems in the past, including those with previous credit issues such as defaults and CCJs.

Also, in regards to the car that has been written off, was this on finance? If so, has finance been settled? Did you make all your payments on time too as this will help improve your chances of being approved and getting over your past problems?

When you're ready, please make an application. If approved, we provide a no obligation quote and you can buy a car from any UK dealer. Have a good evening. Edwin

Hello, I've not had any previous finance before as I'm quite young. I do have a part time job that has a regular income, and I'm looking to borrow £2000-£2500 depending on the car. Would this be possible? Thanks!

Hi Jessica, thank you for your question.

Your credit profile is one of major factors that a lender will look at when determining the suitability of the loan, so having minimal/no credit history can make lenders wary of lending. We do have lenders that can help those with a lack of credit history with finance, but they may ask for you to have a guarantor.

If you'd like to see if we can help, please make an application. If accepted, we provide a no obligation quote and you can buy a car from any reputable dealership. Kind Regards, Edwin
