While the average 18-year-old might make do with driving their mum’s Vauxhall Corsa, Justin Bieber marked his birthday by buying himself a turquoise Lamborghini Aventador. It’s just one model in the Canadian popstar’s extensive collection – he even owns a Batmobile – but it’s a standout. And it’s not just about looks; the Aventador comes equipped with a 6.5 litre V12 engine and can reach 60mph in just 2.9 seconds. He might be Sorry to have been caught on film struggling to manoeuvre the supercar out of a tight garage, but he won’t have any trouble turning heads on Hollywood’s highways.

Lily Allen – Ford Focus RS

Lily Allen might spend more time walking around New York City than driving in the UK these days, but we still have fond memories of her girl racer past. Back around the release of her second album in 2010, Lily was the proud owner of a bright green Ford Focus RS. The distinctive shade might divide opinions, but the RS endures as a great hot hatch. It offers speed and performance and handles itself well around corners (sometimes it even slides!)

Kanye West – Aston Martin DB9

If there’s one musician we’d expect to see channelling his inner James Bond behind the wheel, it’s Kanye West. The rapper isn’t afraid to make a statement and his Aston Martin DB9 is a showstopping supercar that packs a punch. With its timeless design, luxe interior, and surprisingly lightweight handling, it’s easy to see why the DB9 is the ideal car for both an international spy and rap royalty – and, of course, it comes equipped with an excellent stereo. 

Drake – Rolls-Royce Phantom

The Rolls-Royce Phantom is one of the world’s most desirable cars, but Drake’s model is in a different league. The car is one-of-a-kind featuring a custom two-tone paint job – black and a yellow that’s the shade of the Bushukan fruit – and a diamond-encrusted gold owl hood ornament, representing the Canadian rapper’s record label OVO. The interior is similarly luxurious, but the Phantom doesn’t skimp on performance either thanks to its powerful engine and smooth handling.

Dave Grohl – Ford Falcon Kombi Van

In Times Like These our cars aren’t just a way to get from A to B, they can be a source of freedom too. If you’re dreaming of a summer roadtrip then Dave Grohl has got you covered. His vintage Ford Falcon Kombi Van has space for all the family and tracking it down was a labour of love for the Foo Fighters’ frontman. At first glance, it might not look like an obvious choice for a rock star but the custom interior is kitted out with bespoke bench seating (with skull print detailing), carpet and roof padding to keep it cool in the summer.

Taylor Swift – Audi R8

Taylor Swift might be looking for a Getaway Car but when it’s as stylish as the Audi R8, we wouldn’t mind going along for the ride! The jury is still out on whether this was Taylor’s car or owned by her ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner, but the R8 impresses either way. Offering 0-60mph in just 3.7 seconds, this stylish sports car will get you out of an awkward romantic situation faster than a White Horse while the snug two-seater interior is perfect for cosing up with your new muse.
