Will I be able to get Finance for a Fiat 500?

Hi, I have a credit score of 684 with one settled default on my credit record from when I was a student.

Do you think I will be able to get finance on a Fiat 500 through this site? Thanks

Hi Ellie, thanks for joining our Q&A and apologies for the delayed response.

We'd love to help you out and with a credit score of 684 with one settled default i'm confident we can get you approved for the Fiat 500 you want.

Do you have a deposit (not mandatory but helps), are you in full time employment and are you on the electoral roll? If so, please make an application and once approved we provide a no obligation quote and you can buy a car from any dealer in the UK. Kind Regards, Rachel

I'm looking at getting a car on finance, maybe a fiat 500. I have a car already but it's probably only worth £500, but could maybe get another £200 for deposit. The only thing is that my credit rating is poor. Would I still be able to get finance? I'm onl

Hi Abbie, we do have a chance in getting you the finance you need for a Fiat 500. The £700 approx deposit will certainly help your case. Just 2 questions - are you on the electoral roll and do you have any active clean credit? If so, please apply and let me know the reference number ;-)

Hi Jade, i'm confident we can get you approved for car finance even though you have a temporary job as you have some clean active credit. The problem we may face though is the amount you want due to your age. Would you have any deposit at all? Rachel :-)

My daughter is looking to purchase a Fiat 500 as i get a good discount with my employer to buy this make of car. She has moved from student digs and is nearly 21. She was told she needed guarantor as my x husband left me in a mess i cannot do this for her

Hi June, apologies for the late reply. If your daughter has a clean credit history i'd argue with the dealer that you want her to apply on her own. If this isn't an option and Fiat won't allow anyone else other than a parent be a guarantor then you're a little bit stuck. However, i'm confident we could get your daughter approved on her own (if she has a good credit rating and is on the electoral roll) and we could get her in a Fiat 500 in no time. Rachel

Hello, I am interesting in purchasing an Approved Used Fiat 500 from the Fiat dealership that is worth around £8000. I have a deposit of £3000 so would need to lend £5000. Neither of my parents want to put themselves in the position of being a Guarantor.

Hi Kirsty, thank you for your question and apologies for the delayed response. As you have a large deposit, a good monthly income and an excellent credit score i'm confident we can get you approved for the £5000 you need. A guarantor won't be required from what you have said and the Fiat 500 is a great little car to go for (very economical and cheap to run). The rate i'd expect you to pay would be between 7% - 9% approx. Please make an application and once approved you can choose a car from any dealer and we also provide a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Rachel

Hello, i tried to get a fiat 500 on finance the other day which was vauled at £8,500. It came back that they would give me a max of £5000. Do you have any ideas if it is possible to get the rest? Thanks in advance

Hi Laura, we’d have to get you approved for the whole amount rather than providing a separate loan. What is your monthly income and do you have any form of deposit to place into the deal? Lastly, do you have good or bad credit? Regards, Rachel

Hi there, could you let me know if there is a company that will help me?

I have a full time job and my monthly income is quite substantial but i do not have a good credit rating from years back. Can I still get a Fiat 500?

Asked by Chate Makoyo
July 27, 2012

Hi Chate, thank you for your question.

As you have a good income that will obviously help things however, it all depends upon how bad your credit history was in terms of whether we can help or not.

We do have lenders on our panel that can help people with a poor credit history so there is a chance we can help though. Please make an application and once approved we provide a no obligation quote and you can buy a car from any dealer in the UK. Kind Regards, Rachel

I need to find a new car but am struggling to get finance. I am 18 and am working full time and have minimal outgoings, other than my current car insurance and running costs, but because my parents don't have great credit ratings they can't be guarantor.

Asked by Rosie
July 27, 2012

Hi Rosie, due to your age you may not be able to get finance on a brand new Fiat 500 but have you thought of a used one? We could get you approx £5000 and you may need a 10% deposit. Would that be of any use? It'd build up your credit score etc and in a few years you'd then be able to get a new car. Rachel

Hi Laura, how much is your part ex worth as we could use that as a deposit. Die to your age and income we'd potentially be able to get you approx £6000. Rachel
