Hello, Is it possible for a car finance company to reject a guarantor due to them being too old? Thanks

Answer
Hi Ronnie, thank you for your question.
All lenders have set criteria and age restrictions so to answer your question the answer is yes. The maximum age for a guarantor that we can accept is 80.
How old is the guarantor you were thinking of using? Please make an application when you're ready and once approved we provide a no obligation quote and you can buy a car from any dealer in the UK. Kind Regards, Rachel

Borrowing £7,500 over 4 years with a representative APR of 25.4%, an annual interest rate of 25.4% (Fixed) and a deposit of £0.00, the amount payable would be £239.77 per month, with a total cost of credit of £4,008.96 and a total amount payable of £11,508.96.
Rates may differ as they are dependent on individual circumstances. Subject to status.

Hello,
I am in desperate need of a car as mine has given up and i have work commitments. I have a very poor credit rating of around 530 and i work full time taking home £1000 per month. I have nobody who is able to be a guarantor for me.
Do you think i could still get finance? I ask because i really don't want to pay any fees if it's going to result in a no! I have already applied for £1500 but i would like to know my chances before going further. Many thanks
Answer
Hi Victoria, thank you for your question.
We do have lenders on our panel that help people with poor credit so i'm confident we can help you even though you don't have a guarantor as you have a decent monthly income.
We don't charge any up-front fees to get you approved for car finance either. Please make an application when you are ready. Kind Regards, Rachel
